Introduction

We all share an obligation for preparing our youth for the 21st century. They can expect to face a future of rapid change with fleeting advances that evolve at record breaking speeds of thought. The novelty of our new world will require absolutes. Quality education becomes a matter of priority.

The lack of financial resources roughens the road for underprivileged students who want to earn a college education in preparation for their futures. The Spiral Educational Foundation is a dedicated non-profit organization established to help raise the bar and make academic dreams of local youth come true.

Utilizing a "back to basics" approach, the organization has enlisted local clergymen, businessmen and women, civic organizations and many local distinguished leaders to help raise educational funds for many of our less fortunate scholars.

It is through the works of many that The Spiral Educational Foundation is able to mirror this proverb. We will continue to work earnestly and unselfishly to help deserving youth move forward in their pursuit to lead responsible lives.

The Foundation excels under the capable leadership of its Board of Directors and a sixteen member volunteer coilition made up of corporate, civic and community advisors.

Steeped in a tradition of acheivements and self' help, SEF is spearheaded by it's Founding Director, Jean Rodgers Clack, former Regional Development Director with the National United Negro College Fund, Inc.

The SEF family of volunteers allow us to meet the challenges of education with a deep committment of integrity, intelligence and dedication. They are our most redeeming fearture and valued asset! Through an ongoing and collaborative effort, the Spiral Educatinal Foundation fervently work to provide a framework for knowledge, skills and ability essential for building an educated, skilled workforce.
